The former Ondo Ekimogun Youth President and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart in Ondo State has described the establishment of Minds Medica and Drug Rehabilitation Centre as “a right step taken in the right direction” by Dr. Ajibayo Adeyeye.

Minds Medica and Drug Rehabilitation Centre, founded by Dr. Ajibayo Adeyeye and his wife, Prof. Adeyeye, was officially commissioned on August 22nd by the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa.
Speaking with the press from the United Kingdom, the award-winning youth leader commended Dr. Adeyeye as a visionary and exemplary politician who has consistently invested his personal resources in initiatives that add value to Ondo State.

According to him, the centre will bring far-reaching benefits across economic, social, and psychological dimensions:
“Economically, Minds Medica will create jobs for doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, while reducing the heavy financial costs associated with drug abuse—such as healthcare expenses, crime management, and lost productivity. This is a true investment in the future of Ondo State.”
“Socially, the rehabilitation centre will help restore peace and stability in our communities. By providing a safe haven for those battling addiction, it will reduce drug-related crimes and social vices, strengthen families, and foster healthier communities.”

“Psychologically, this initiative is a beacon of hope. It will provide counseling, therapy, and rehabilitation that restore confidence, dignity, and mental wellness to individuals who may have been written off by the society. Minds Medica will help transform victims of addiction into productive and responsible citizens once again.”
He concluded by applauding Dr. Adeyeye’s vision, describing him as “a leader whose impact goes beyond politics, and whose commitment to human development will continue to inspire generations in Ondo State.”
