That was before the arrival of a goal-getter and result-oriented leader, ACP TY Pyikison, whose tactical skill and leadership have pushed every officer under his command to perform at optimal levels.
Under his watch, Ondo youths, elders, and leaders joined forces with security operatives to form the End to Miscreants in Ondo Kingdom (ETMAOK) platform, a vibrant coalition dedicated to fighting unholy acts across the area. This initiative has achieved remarkable results:
Crackdown on hard drug sales and usage in the city.
Dismantling illegal cult networks.
Curtailing land grabbing activities.
Timely arrests of okada snatchers and killers through intelligence-led policing.
The impact is clear: today, Ondo residents can sleep with both eyes closed, enjoying a renewed sense of safety.
ACP Pyikison’s close collaboration with the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has brought tangible infrastructural and economic support to the police force in the kingdom.
In a rare show of accessibility, he is the first Area Commander in the division’s history to make his personal mobile number available to the public, ensuring swift response to security concerns.
It is a rare privilege for Ondo Command to have such a man of integrity and dedication in its service. Our prayer is that he remains with us for long, even as inevitable promotions beckon.
