The leadership of Ward 11 has reaffirmed the suspension of Mr. Austin Adewale, who was previously relieved of his duties as Chairman due to gross misconduct.
In a statement released by the ward leadership, members of the party and the general public were cautioned against recognizing or engaging with Mr. Adewale in any official capacity. This comes after reports surfaced that he continues to falsely represent himself as the Ward Chairman.
The leadership also revealed that Mr. Adewale failed to honor an invitation to appear before the Disciplinary Committee, which was established to investigate the allegations brought against him. His refusal to cooperate is considered a blatant disregard for the party’s internal processes and disciplinary protocols.
“In light of these developments, we wish to reiterate that Mr. Austin Adewale remains suspended. All members are strongly advised to refrain from any official dealings with him,” the statement read.
