Hon. Joseph Akinlaja Appointed Coordinator for Ondo Central Senatorial District
In a decisive move to curb the growing menace of illegal land acquisition and property encroachment, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has inaugurated the Task Force on Property Protection and Anti-Land Grabbing.
The announcement, made on May 28, 2025, by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, marks a bold step toward ensuring secure land ownership and enforcing land use regulations across the state.
The newly constituted task force is mandated to:
- Safeguard property rights
- Curb unlawful land acquisition
- Enforce existing land laws
- Promote orderly urban development
This initiative reflects the Ondo State Government’s unwavering commitment to protecting the rights of its citizens and promoting transparent, lawful land administration.
Hon. Joseph Akinlaja to Lead Ondo Central Community Efforts
A notable highlight of the task force’s composition is the appointment of Hon. Joseph Iranola Akinlaja as the Community Representative and Coordinator for the Ondo Central Senatorial District. A seasoned public servant and vocal advocate for property rights, Hon. Akinlaja brings decades of grassroots experience and a strong track record of community service to the role.
Speaking after his appointment, Hon. Akinlaja expressed his gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa, pledging to serve with diligence and integrity:
