The two term former lawmaker, at the National Assembly and the former Ondo State Chairman, Zenith Labour Party, Hon Joseph Iranola Akinlaja has congratulated all Muslim faithfuls in this year 2024 Eid-el-Kabir and pray that this will not be the end in their existence as Muslims.
He admonished that the festival is tagged to be for “sacrifice” therefore said the need for Nigerians to be patient with the present administration is a necessity and for better tomorrow.
The oil business magnate further said proverbially that the incision of tribal marks come with pains but the beauty at the end is for a lifetime as the elders used to say.
The risk taken by prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail brought about today’s celebration and the beginning of another twelve (12) Islamic calendar year, so also Nigeria will celebrate the joy of democracy in no distant time.
The reknown philanthropist and hotelier advised that the celebration with moderation will reduce tension and guide celebrants for a better sallah in the future.
