It was a glamorous event at the Federation of Ondo Ekimogun Student Union (FOESU) Day when great sons and daughters were presented various awards in line with their contributions to the development of Ondo kingdom
Ambassador Funmilayo Akinyosoye ably known as Oluomo of Maryland was one of the awardee represented by comrade Akinsile Akinniran at Adeyemi Federal University Quandrangle.
The events had the likes of the serving MHR Hon Abiola Makinde who was represented by his media Aide Mr Alli Moshood also Prince Adedotun Adeya represented too, Dr Michael Akintomide Ajilo and Mr Kolawole Benson Akinboni were all awarded at the event.
However, Oluomo was awarded for his outstanding contributions to the development of Ondo kingdom among them were his generous philanthropic gestures to payment of indigent students School fees and financial support to those who have business ideas.
In his remark Ambassador Funmilayo Akinyosoye thanked the organisation and said that the award will spur him to give more back to the society.
He also used the medium to appreciate those who honoured his invitation to his mother’s 70th birthday and pray that more development shall manifest in Ondo kingdom.
