With profound gratitude to God Almighty, we joyfully celebrate a distinguished son of the Akinniran lineage, the Head of the Akinniran J & R Dynasty, the apparent heir of the Joseph Olagunju Akinniran family, and an enduring symbol of unity and leadership among the Akinniran descendants Mr. (Engr.) Henry Akinjide Akinniran.
Born about six decades ago as the first child of Jossy and Ralli, his arrival was divinely ordained and warmly embraced, fulfilling a cherished desire for a male heir. Our revered late father often testified that his birth marked the happiest day of his life, a testimony he reaffirmed during his 84th birthday celebration, two years before his glorious transition.
Mr. Henry Akinniran commenced his educational journey at Bishop Phillips Memorial Primary School, advanced to Gboluji Grammar School, and later attended the Federal School of Science. He furthered his academic pursuit at the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, and the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where he laid an enduring foundation for excellence, discipline, and service to humanity.
In the realm of professional endeavour, he rendered meritorious service to several reputable organisations across Abeokuta, Akure, and Ondo, before extending his career beyond the shores of Nigeria. Guided by vision, diligence, and an unwavering quest for excellence, he acquired numerous professional certifications, including a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management in the United States of America. He distinguished himself in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management, served with competence as a Lifting Supervisor, and now stands as a Lifting Appointed Person, a specialist of exceptional standard and professional integrity.
Today, we celebrate more than the passage of years; we celebrate a life of purpose, leadership, service, and intellectual depth. An icon of discipline, a mentor to many, a social reformer, and an erudite scholar, Mr. Henry Akinniran continues to inspire confidence, unity, and pride within the family, among friends and peers and beyond.
On this auspicious occasion, we pray for long life in good health, enduring wisdom, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
